At 0714 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Prospect for a report of a male trespassing in the area. An Officer arrived and located the male. Due to the fact the male had been trespassed previously, The 45-year-old Helena area man was cited and referred to Municipal Court.
At 1229 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Harris for a report of a male trespassing in an apartment building. The male was located and identified; it was discovered to be the same male mentioned above. The 45-year-old Helena area man was cited for trespassing and referred to Municipal Court.
At 2040 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 3100 block of Sanders for a report of a male harassing a young boy. It was reported the male made fun of the young boy in the bathroom, followed the young boy out to a vehicle and proceeded to make obscene gestures towards the boy and his family. When officers arrived, the suspect was located. At the conclusion of the investigation, the suspect, a 63-year-old Helena area man was cited for Disorderly Conduct. He was referred to Municipal Court.
At 2235 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the area of 11th and Fee for a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area. An Officer responded and located the vehicle. He made contact with the male driver and noticed the male appeared impaired; he was tested for DUI. At the conclusion of the investigation, the 54-year-old Helena man was arrested and booked into the LCSO jail for DUI (1st), Aggravated DUI, and Open Contain in a vehicle.
The Helena Police Department responded to 77 calls for service. Of those calls, they responded to 4 crashes, 3 animal calls, 3 Disorderly/Disturbance calls, 6 Suspicious Circumstance calls, 8 theft calls, 5 trespassing complaints, 7 welfare Checks, and conducted 13 traffic stops.
