CHEYENNE,Wyo.—The Cheyenne Police Department is investigating a shooting which occurred around 11:00 p.m. on December 11. At 11:05 p.m.,
CPD officers were dispatched to a call of shots fired in the 1700 block of W. Lincolnway.
Officers arrived and found that 35-year-old Genaro Bojorquez,, of North Dakota, had been shot.
Bojorquez was able to talk to officers and described his assailants as two black males, one of whom had dreadlocks, driving a gray or black 1990’s Jeep Cherokee.
Bojorquez was transported to Cheyenne Regional Medical center for treatment and then flown by helicopter to University of Denver Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
Bojorquez was accompanied by a friend who was uninjured in the attack.
The suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.
