At 0249 hours, an Officer responded to the Emergency Room in regards to an assault that occurred on the 200 block of 7th Ave.  Contact was made with the involved parties and it was determined no assault occurred. 

 

It was discovered there was a valid no-contact order in place between the involved parties.  At the conclusion of the incident, a  52-year-old Helena man was arrested for Violation of a No-Contact Order. He was booked into the LCSO jail. 

 

At 0337 hours, Officers responded to the 10 block of S Davis for a report of a male that had just kicked a residence door in.  Officers arrived to the area and located the suspect, who fled.  The Officer gave chase and was quickly able to catch and detain the male suspect.  He was eventually arrested and transported to the LCSO jail. 

 

While on the booking floor the suspect punched another officer who was in the jail for an unrelated matter.  The 28-year-old Helena man was booked into the LCSO jail for Trespassing, Criminal Mischief, Obstructing a Police Officer, and Assault on a Peace officer (felony).    

 

At 1817 hours, an Officer responded to the 2700 block of Prospect for a report of a female shoplifter.  The female was located and identified.  The 20-year-old Clancy woman was cited for theft and referred to Municipal Court.  

 

At 2044 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 1500 block of Broadwater Circle for a report of a male exposing himself outside.  While en route, a second call came in that there was a peeping tom in the area. 

 

When the Officer arrived, he located the male looking through a window exposing himself.  At the conclusion of the investigation, the 46-year-old Helena man was cited for Indecent Exposure and Surreptitious Visual Observation.  He was referred to Municipal Court. 

 

 

 

The Helena Police Department responded to 58 calls for service.  Of those calls, they responded to 1 vehicle crash, 4 Animal calls, 7 disturbance complaints, 5 theft calls, 2 trespassing calls, 6 welfare Checks, 3 Suspicious Circumstance calls, and conducted 4 traffic stops.
