Billings man Lionel Joel Stevens arrested for Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs (2) Counts.
September 12, 2019, Billings Police Officer Beechie was informed by US Marshal Swanson, that a stolen vehicle observed in the Reno Club parking lot.
The Reno Club parking lot located at 150 Calhoun Lane was where the US Marshal Swanson was also sitting.
Officer Beechie was able to located and detain Lionel Joel Stevens who was in the vehicle sitting in the parking alone.
Several active warrants for Stevens arrest were engaged, and Stevens was also on adult probation for other crimes not related to this incident.
Probation and Parole Officer Deputy Chief Evans requested that the vehicle that Stevens was driving needed to a drug search.
During the search of the vehicle, a large amount of METH, including 27 orange colored pills, were located. The tablets discovered were identified as Clonazepam.
Lionel Joel Stevens admitted to Officer Beechie that the drugs were indeed his property.
