Billings man George Butch Whiteman Jr. was arrested for Assault. According to Police records, Billings Police Officer Nichols was called to the Billings Clinic and met with two security Officers. Both of the security Officers stated that George Whiteman Jr was brought in by the ambulance earlier in the day for medical treatment.
Whiteman Jr. became aggressive verbally during the treatment. As he was discharged he continued to be verbally aggressive.
The Security guards requested Whiteman to leave the property. This appeared to anger George Whiteman Jr. As Whiteman Jr. was walking across the 27th street the security guards yelled at him as to what is still unknown, but this agitated Whiteman Jr. even more.
Turning around he pulled a knife out of his pocket and stated to the guards "You can't touch me."
"Not even the cops can touch me." One of the guards radio to call 911. As Whiteman Jr. heard this, he threw the knife on to the street. and started to walk away.
Billings Police Officers located Whiteman Jr. and searched his person, locating a second knife.
George Butch Whiteman Jr. was arrested without incident.
