According to Lieutenant Jayson Zander badge #745, at 0106 hours, an Officer conducted a traffic on the 1200 block of Prospect. The male driver demonstrated signs of impairment and was tested for DUI. At the conclusion of the investigation, the 21-year-old Helena man was arrested for DUI. he was booked into the LCSO jail.
At 0149 hours, Officers responded to the 1600 block of 6th Ave for a report of an injury crash. It was reported a vehicle collided into a tree. Upon arrival, Officers and paramedics tended to the female driver and eventually transported her to the hospital. The 21-year-old Helena area female driver demonstrated signs of impairment and, at the conclusion of the investigation, was cited for DUI, Aggravated DUI, Careless Driving, and No Proof of Insurance. She was referred to Municipal Court.
At 1858 hours, an Officer responded to the 600 block of S California for a report of a domestic disturbance. It was reported there was a physical altercation between a male and female. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 56-year-old Helena woman was arrested for Partner/Family Member Assault. She was booked into the LCSO jail.
At 2001 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of Logan for a report of a male trespassing. The 39-year-old Helena area male was located and identified. He was cited for trespassing and referred to Municipal Court. A short time later, the male returned and was issued a second citation.
The Helena Police Department responded to 97 calls for service. Of those calls, they responded to 4 vehicle crashes, 3 Animal calls, 6 criminal mischief complaints, 9 disturbance calls, 4 theft calls, 4 trespassing calls, 9 welfare Checks, 9 Suspicious Circumstance calls and conducted 18 traffic stops.
