Billings man David Forest Henkel was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon.  ON July 27, 2019, Billings Police Officer Johnson responded to the 37th block of 3000 Street West for what was a disturbance in progress.

The report indicated that his brother(s)-in-law had jumped him and left in a vehicle in an unknown direction.

Once Officer Johnson arrived, he walked up to the door and knocked, and David Forest Henkel answered the door.

Henkel had a bloody face with multiple injuries.

According to David Henkel, he told Officer Johnson that he and his wife had been arguing.  Her two brothers came into the bedroom and jumped on him and beat him up.  He did not know any of the assailants personally.

Billings Police Officer Donovan assisted Officer Johnson.  The bed had a considerable amount of blood on the sheets.

It appeared to be a struggle that took place on the bed.

The individuals had been at daisy Dukes bar where they meet two men.   She stated that Henkel wanted her to have oral sex with him when they got home, but she declined from giving Henkel a "blowjob" because her son was awake and she wanted for him to go back to sleep.

David Henkel got upset and started to get in her face and pointed the finger at her face.  Henkel then threw the victim onto the bed, crawled up on top of her.  The two men that were at their house party came into the room and pulled David Henkel off of her.

At some point, the victim went back into her bedroom as soon as her Two-year-old son had fallen asleep.  David Henkel pulled out a Glock .45 handgun and pointed it at her face and stated that he was going to shoot everybody.  David Henkel shoved M.H. onto the bed.

Crawling up on top of her, Henkel pointed his gun at her neck and face.  The two men hearing this commotion came back upstairs to check on what was going on. Seeing this, they were worried Henkel was going to shoot her, so both men beat David Henkel up in an attempt to protect her.

Katrina Gay was a witness to this incident.
