An early morning Shooting took place at about 3:40 this morning in the Pioneer Park.
Three male teenagers were shot with a handgun by a suspect.
Some describe the shooter as about the same age as the three male teenagers who range from the ages 14 to 17 years old. Billings Police have corrected their original press release to describe the 18-year-old as a female not a male as stated earlier in their @BillingsPD tweet. Sources are confirming to the Montana News that an argument erupted which quickly turned into a potentially, deadly confrontation. No fatalities fortunately occured.
According to a Billings Montana News source, the Billings Police have a potential person of interest but, have not released any information either the media nor to the public.
The three Billings males, ages 14-18 were all sent to a local Billings hospital.
One of the male teenagers is considered to have sustained some severe injuries but, is expected to live according to the Billings Police Department.
Billings Police Detectives could be observed, combing the area early this morning as they were investigating the shooting.
According to public safety concerns the Billings Police in a Tweet expressed that their were no known risks to the public.. As of this publication date, the investigation was still ongoing.
