According to Lieutenant Jayson Zander badge#745 of the Helena Police Department, at 0736 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the area of Prospect and Hannaford for a report of a one vehicle crash.
It was reported the male driver was demonstrating signs of impairment. The Officer identified and tested the driver for DUI.
At the conclusion of the investigation, the 65-year-old Helena area man was arrested for speeding, DUI, and Aggravated DUI.
He was booked into the LCSO jail.
At 1404 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 2900 block of Prospect for a report of a domestic disturbance. The involved parties were identified and it was discovered an involved male had two valid arrest warrants. The 36-year-old Helena man was arrested and booked into the LCSO jail.
At 1608 hours, Officers responded to the 1500 block of Wilder for a report of an assault that occurred and the suspect was threatening to shoot people. Officers arrived, located, and detained the suspect. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 65-year-old Helena man was arrested for Assault with a Weapon. He was booked into the LCSO jail.
At 1908 hours, an Officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Gibbon and Prospect. The male driver was identified and it was discovered he had a valid warrant for his arrest. The 24-year-old Helena man was arrested for the warrant, expired registration, and no proof of insurance. He was booked into the LCSO jail.
The Helena Police Department responded to 114 calls for service. Of those calls, they responded to 4 vehicle crashes, 4 Animal calls, 5 Criminal Mischief complaints, 7 theft calls, 3 trespassing complaints, 5 welfare Checks, 10 Suspicious Circumstance calls and conducted 28 traffic stops.
