At 0134 hours, an Officer conducted a traffic stop near in a private lot at the 300 block of N Warren.  When the vehicle pulled into a lot, the driver struck a fence and high centered the car.  When the Officer made contact with the driver, he demonstrated signs of impairment and was tested for DUI.  At the conclusion of the investigation, the 28-year-old Helena man was arrested for DUI and a red light violation.  He was booked into the LCSO jail.  

 

At 1202 hours, an Officer was at a business at the 1000 block of Helena Ave for an unrelated matter.  He made contact with a 34-year-old Helena woman and found that she had two valid warrants for her arrest.  the woman was arrested and booked into the LCSO jail.  

 

At 1624 hours, an Officer was traveling on Henderson near the intersection of Waukesha and came upon a vehicle that had crashed into a power pole.  

 

The vehicle then drove to an address on Waushesha with the Officer following.  When the Officer made contact with the male driver, he demonstrated signs of impairment and was tested for DUI.

 

At the conclusion of the investigation, the 57-year-old Helena man was arrested for DUI, Aggravated DUI, and Careless Driving.  He was booked into the LCSO jail.     

 

The Helena Police Department responded to 101 calls for service.  Of those calls, they responded to 7 vehicle crashes, 2 theft calls, 6 welfare Checks, 8 Suspicious Circumstance calls, and conducted 25 traffic stops.
