At 0841 hours, an Officer responded to the 2100 block of Euclid for a report of a theft from a non-profit organization. The suspect, a 41-year-old Helena man was located and cited for theft. He was referred to Municipal Court.
At 1408 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 10 block of S Park for a report of a suicidal male. Officer checked several places throughout town and eventually located the male. He was transported to the Emergency Room for an evaluation.
At 1545 hours, an Officer conducted a traffic stop near the 3100 block of Highway 12 East. The male driver initially provided a false name, but was eventually identified. The 28-year-old Helena man was found to be a Probation Absconder. A search of his vehicle produced dangerous drugs being located. The male was arrested for Improper lane Change, Revoked Driver’s License, No Insurance, Obstructing a Police Officer, Probation Absconder Warrant, and 3 counts of Possession of Dangerous Drugs (felony). He was booked into the LCSO jail.
At 1919 hours, an Officer responded to the 2400 block of Broadway for a report of a family disturbance. It was reported a male drove to that location while being intoxicated. The male was located and tested for DUI. At the conclusion of the investigation, the 29-year-old Helena man was arrested for DUI, Aggravated DUI, and Driving revoked. He was booked into the LCSO jail.
At 2253 hours, An Officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Last Chance Gulch and Lyndale. The male driver demonstrated signs of impairment and was tested for DUI. At the conclusion of the investigation, the 25-year-old Helena man was arrested for DUI. He was booked into the LCSO jail.
The Helena Police Department responded to 111 calls for service. Of those calls, they responded to 12 vehicle crashes, 7 theft calls, 9 welfare Checks, 8 Suspicious Circumstance calls, and conducted 18 traffic stops.
