5/15/19 @ 2:36pm  Detectives located a vehicle parked in the 1800 blk of 11th Avenue with stolen license plates attached to it.  After contacting the occupants of the vehicle, the driver – a 24 yr old Helena male – was arrested for Theft (Possession of Stolen Property), Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, an outstanding arrest warrant and for violations of his parole.  He was booked at the detention center.

 

The passenger in the vehicle – a 46 yr old Helena male – fled from officers on foot and was detained a short distance away.  He was arrested and charged with Obstructing a Peace Officer, Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs with Intent to Distribute and Failure to Register as a Sexual or Violent Offender.  He was also booked at the detention center.

 

5/14/19 @ 7:02am  An officer investigated a theft from a motor vehicle in the 2200 blk of Choteau. 

 

5/15/19 @ 10:18pm  Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash near Prospect Avenue and Fee Street.  It was reported a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.  The pedestrian was transported to the hospital for treatment of what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.  No citations have been issued in the incident, as it is still under investigation.

 

5/15/19 @ 11:25am  An officer was called to Helena Municipal Court to arrest a 36 yr old Helena female on an outstanding warrant.  She was booked at the detention center.

 

5/15/19 @ 9:24am  An officer took a report of property stolen from a work site in the 400 blk of Logan Street.

 

5/14/19 @ 9:57am  An officer took a report of a theft from a business in the 1500 blk of National Avenue.  The business reported two individuals took items from outside the store over the past weekend when the store was closed.

 

5/14/19 @ 8:14am  A school resource officer was called to Helena High School concerning a fight that happened in a hallway at the school.  After investigating, the officer cited the two males– a 14 yr old and a 15 yr old – for Disorderly Conduct.  They were cited and released to guardians.

 

5/13/19 @ 10:49am  An officer cited a 39 yr old female with Criminal Trespass at a business in the 10 blk of East Lyndale Avenue.  She was cited and released.

 

5/13/19 @ 10:59pm  An officer investigated a theft from a business in the 400 blk of Euclid Avenue.  It was reported the suspect fueled a vehicle and left without paying.

 

5/15/19 @ 6:02am  Officers were called to a residence in the 500 blk of Logan Street to a disturbance.  After investigating, officers arrested a 36 yr old Helena male for 2nd offense Partner or Family Member Assault, Obstructing a Peace Officer, and two outstanding arrest warrants.  He was booked at the detention center.

 

5/15/19 @ 2:03pm  An officer investigated a theft from a business in the 1000 blk of Helena Avenue.

 

5/15/19 @ 4:12pm An officer was called to investigate a theft from a residence in the 900 blk of Jackson Street.  Several of the stolen items have been recovered and the officer is continuing to investigate.

 

5/15/19 @ 8:00pm  Officers were called to the area of Davis and 11th Avenue concerning a possibly intoxicated driver.  The officer located and arrested the driver – a 45 yr old Helena male – for 2nd offense Driving Under the Influence, Aggravated DUI and Criminal Possesion of Drug Paraphernalia.  He was booked at the detention center.
