Billings man Dezi Clay Askin was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Over a year ago Billings Police Officer Gilmore was patrolling an area on Laurel Road when he observed a vehicle traveling 61 miles per hour in a 45 mph speed zone.
As Billings Police Officer Gilmore approached the vehicle, he noticed a strong odor of Marijuana emanating from the inside of the vehicle.
Officer Gilmore searched the vehicle and located a Meth Loker under the console which was inside a first aid kit. A blue marijuana grinder and a marijuana pipe that was laying in the glove box of the vehicle.
Askin admitted to Officer Gilmore that he had smoked Marijuana just 20 minutes before the traffic stop.
The Meth Loker had METH residue in it and tested positive for METH. Dezi Clay Askin was arrested and booked without further incident.
