A Day In The Yellowstone County District Court

A day in the District Court in Billings.  The Montana News brings you the results on various cases that were before District Court Judge Knisely as she presided over the criminal case arrangements.

They are as follows:

Carrie Lynn Roundstone was charged with theft (2) counts, and assaulted with bodily fluid.

For theft count (1)-- she received three-year Department Of Corrections to serve consecutively to any other sentence.

For theft count (2)-- was dismissed
For assault with bodily fluid, she received six months in the Yellowstone County Detention Facility and a $500.00 fine


Richard Lee Turner Jr. was charged with Criminal possession of Dangerous drugs, tampering with evidence, theft, obstructing a Peace Officer, driving suspended and failure to carry insurance.
For Count (1) Criminal possession of dangerous drugs he received five years in the Department of Corrections --Suspended and a $1,500.00 fine.
FOr the Count (2) Tampering with evidence, h received 5ive years in the Department of Corrections --suspended
For Count  (3) theft, the charge dismissed.
For Count (4) obstructing a Peace Officer, the charge dismissed.
For Count (5) Suspended or revoked license he received six months in the Yellowstone County Detention Facility suspended
moreover, for the Count (6) failure to carry insurance the charge was dismissed.


Shean Moore charged with Forgery and Exploitation of an older adult.   Shean Moore received for the forgery three years with the Department of corrections suspended and received for the exploitation of an older adult, 3 years suspended.

Emily Paula Frasier charged with criminal possession of dangerous drugs--Emily pleaded Not Guilty. Her bond was placed at $2000.00 and is required to wear a drug patch with alternatives.

Marissa Geraldine Pilsher charged with criminal possession of dangerous drugs, and she received three years at the Department Of Corrections and for the bail jumping charge she received three years to run concurrently with case #DC17-0512.

Joseph Govani Bates-Foss charged for burglary  The Court is waiting for DNA results, and the attornies were to get with each other in the judge's chambers to discuss a new trial date.
