 0500 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of Breckenridge for a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle. 

 

At 0701 hours, an Officer responded to the 1600 block of 11th Ave for a report of someone spray painting graffiti.    

 

At 1247 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 1400 block of Missoula for a report of a family disturbance.  Nothing criminal occurred. 

 

At 1216 hours, an Officer responded to the 3100 block of Montana Ave for a report of an attempted shoplift.  The suspect fled the scene leaving a backpack behind.  Suspected dangerous drugs were located in the backpack.  The case is active. 

 

At 1200 hours, An Officer was dispatched to the 3600 block of Travertine for a report of a theft of property from a vehicle. 

 

At 1506 hours, an Officer responded to the 10 block of S Park for a report of a stolen license plate.

 

At 1536 hours, an Officer responded to the 1200 block of Euclid for a report of a violation of a Protection order.  The case is active. 

 

At 1604 hours, an Officer responded to the 10 block of E Lyndale for a report of a stolen bicycle. 

 

At 1548 hours, an officer responded to the 10 block of Last Chance Gulch for a report of a theft of and fraudulent use of credit cards.  The case is active. 

 

 At 1746 hours, an Officer responded to the 2300 block of Colonial for a report of a stolen purse.

 

At 1836 hours, Officer responded to the 3000 block of N Montana for a report of an intoxicated male that was driving with a young child in the vehicle.  The male was located and tested for DUI.  At the conclusion of the investigation, the 31-year-old Helena man was arrested for DUI, Aggravated DUI, Criminal Child Endangerment (felony), and driving Suspended.  He was booked into the LCSO jail. 

 

At 2211 hours, Officer responded to the 1100 block of Billings for a report of a domestic disturbance.  When officer arrived, it was discovered a male responded to a residence where he was prohibited from being at due to a No-Contact Order.  Further, it was determined the male demonstrated signs of impairment.  At the conclusion of the investigation, the 51-year-old Helena man was arrested for DUI, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Violation of a No-Contact Order.  He was booked into the LCSO jail. 

 

At 2308 hours, Officer were dispatched to the 400 block of Oakes for a report of a suicidal man.  The male was located, placed in Protective Custody, and taken to the hospital.    

 

 

The Helena Police Department responded to 70 calls for service.  Of those calls, they responded to 4 vehicle crashes, 10 welfare Checks,  5 Trespassing complaints, and 3 Suspicious Circumstance calls.
