At 0630 hours, an Officer responded to the 200 block of Harrison Ave for a report of a theft from two different vehicles. 

 

At 1006 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of Prospect for a report of a shoplift.  At the conclusion of the investigation, a 40-year-old Billings woman was cited for theft.  She was referred to Municipal Court.  S Park for a report of a theft of delivered packages. 

 

At 1001 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the LCSO detention Center for a report of an inmate with an arrest warrant.  The 21-year-old Helena man was served with the warrant. 

 

At 1118 hours, a School Resource Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Valley for a report of a juvenile female in possession of tobacco.  The female was cited and referred to Municipal Court.       

 

At 1038 hours, an Officer responded to the 1600 block of Lewis St. for a report of criminal mischief to a gate.   

 

At 1141 hours, an Officer responded to the 1400 block of Charlie Russell for a report of a burglary from a residence.

 

At 1242 hours, an officer responded to the 1400 block of Broadwater Circle for a report of an assault that had just occurred.  At the conclusion of the investigation, a 65-year-old Helena man was cited for Assault.  He was referred to Municipal Court. 

 

At 1253 hours, an Officer responded to the 800 block of Camelot to assist Juvenile Probation in a search.  At the conclusion of the search, a Juvenile male was cited for Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.   

 

At 1327 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Euclid for a report of a male attempting to cash a fraudulent check.  The case is active. 

 

At 1429 hours, Officers responded to the 200 block of S Hannaford in attempts to locate a male with an arrest warrant.  At the conclusion of the incident, a 22-year old male and a 25-year-ol female were located and confirmed to have valid arrest warrants.  They were both arrested and booked into the LCSO jail.   

 

At 1515 hours, an Officer responded to the 300 block of Warren in an attempt to locate a female with a valid arrest warrant.  The 30-year-ol Helena woman was located and arrested on the warrant.  She was booked into the LCSO jail. 

  

At 1632 hours, an officer responded to the 1600 block of 11th Ave for a report of an unruly male.  The male was located and refused to obey Officers on scene.  At the conclusion of the incident, the 53-year-old Helena man was cited for Obstructing a Police Officer.  He was referred to Municipal Court.    

 

 

The Helena Police Department responded to 111 calls for service.  Of those calls, they responded to 7 vehicle crashes, 4 welfare Checks,  4 Trespassing complaints, and 8 Suspicious Circumstance calls.
