A Peek Into Yellowstone County Criminal Cases Today

Today the following took place in the Billings Judicial District Court.

The state of Montana vs. Derek Tyson Bellamy.  Today a change of plea was sent, and Defense attorney representing Derek Tyson Bellamy is Daniel O.C. Ball.   The charges of (1) count of Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs which is a Felony, is good with (5) years Department of Corrections (s) suspended $1000.00 Fine with a Deferred Felony.
For the Charge of Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia misdemeanor.
This charge was dismissed.

The State of Montana vs. Shalaine Marie Bourne.  The defense attorney is Analicia Pianca.   There was a trial set for 5/13/2019, but due to the change of plea, Shalaine Marie Bourne will be sentenced on 4/22/3019.  Shalaine Marie Bourne will have to do her PSI at the Yellowstone County Detention Facility.
For the charge of Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs Count I.  Felony-- Guilty.
For the charge of Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs Count II. Felony-- Guilty.
For the charge of Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs Count II. Felony-- Guilty.


The State of Montana vs. Michael Paul Herman represented by Blaine Bailey McGivern.
The charge of Theft Common Scheme Felony--Guilty
Michael Paul Herman will be sentenced on 5/2/2019 and is not being held on this matter.  He is to report to the Probation and Parol when released for PSI.

The state of Montana vs. Bonita Ann Huggler, represented by Alexander J. Roth.
For the charge of Burglary Felony---------Felony Reduction
For the charge of Theft Felony-------------Felony Reduction
For the charge of Count I. Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs Felony,  Guilty
For the charge of Count II. Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs  Misdeamnor, Guilty.
For the Charge of Count III. Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Misdeamnor, Guilty.
For the charge of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle Misdeamnor, to be dismissed.
Bonita Ann Huggler is to be sentenced on 04/23/2019, and she is out on O/R on this matter only.   She is to report to Probation and Parole immediately if and when released.  She also has two other cases pending, DC 15-0573 and 15-21334 Probation Revocation hearing on 03/26/2019.

The State of Montana vs. Steven Scott Johnson was represented by Joel M. Thompson.  For the charge of Burglary Felony (2) years Department of Corrections. and Restitution for $3,580.00
For the charge of Count II. Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Misdemeanor dismissed.
On another case against him, Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs--(2) years Department Of Corrections to be suspended /to run consecutively to DC18-0059
