Montana News Disclaimer: One of the most sacred principles in the American criminal and civil justice system, holding that a defendant is innocent until proven guilty. In other words, the prosecution or Plaintiff's must prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, each essential element of the crime or civil allegations charged or leveled. Until then the defendant or respondent is considered innocent of the charges or civil allegations.

Billings man 52-year-old Shawn Roy Eissler was arrested and charged for Partner Family Member Assault of his son.
Yellowstone County Sheriff Deputy Juhl badge#3034 was dispatched to the address of 1128 Cedar Canyon Circle which is located in Lockwood Montana.
On March 3rd, 2019 Sgt Nick Reyna and Deputy Juhl were dispatched to what was described by dispatch as a disturbance that was in progress.
Dispatch also advised the L.E.O.'s that the caller was reporting that he was getting beat up by his father, Shawn Roy Eissler.
Once the Yellowstone County Sheriff Department Officer arrived at 1128 Cedar Canyon Circle, they were met by Shawn Roy Eissler who stated that his son had already left home on foot just before the Deputies arrival.
Shawn Roy Eissler told the Deputies that he was not sure how the physical altercation took place and that he could not recall what the argument was about.
Deputies searched for Shawn Eissler's son locating him in another area.
Once the near-adult son was located, he told the Deputies his version of what took place. He stated that his dad, (Shawn) struck him multiple times on the left side of his head causing great pain.
His father then places him into a choke hold and attempted to plug his nose so that he was not able to breathe.
Shawn's son stated to the law enforcement officers that he was afraid of his father and suffered injuries as a result of the altercation. Shawn Eissler outweighs his son by 65 lbs. Usually the Montana News would print the victim's name also, but in this case, Shawn's son is shy of being 18 years old by 2 months, so his name is not mentioned in this investigative report.
The Sheriff report number is 2019-00704219, and the District Court case number is CR-2019-382.
