Billings woman Lauren Card Hailey was arrested and charged for Robbery. On March 4, 2019, Billings Police Officers were dispatched to the Target store located at 2601 Central Ave.
Property Officer M.P. observed a woman later identified as Lauren Card Hailey steal a phone from a display counter, remove it from the packaging that it was in and then conceal the phone in her bra area.
Lauren Hailey then attempted to leave the store without paying for the phone. Property Officer M.P. tried verbally to stop Lauren Hailey from trying to leave the store.
Hailey kicked the Property Officer M.P. between the legs causing much pain to the Property Officer M.P.
When Property Officer M.P. was able to recover from the pain and was able to get back up on his feet, he was able to catch and detain Lauren Card Hailey.
According to the store's surveillance video, the allegations that the Property Officer alleged were backed up by the video.
Officer Johnson arrested and detained Lauren Card Hailey and while she was en route to jail admitted that she stole a phone and kicking the Store security man between the legs.
Lauren Hailey stated that she was scared; that was why she kicked the man between the legs.
