District Court Judge Oliver Rieger issued an Order that was in favor of the City of Billings in the case of Watters, et.al., vs the City of Billings.   The Montana Supreme Court previously reversed and remanded the more than 2.37 million dollar judgment against the City of Billings that was ended against the City of Billings in favor of the Billings Police departments and ordered previously by Judge Brenda Gilbert on September 8, 2016.

The Billings police via with the blessing of corrupt Billings Police Chief Rich St. John, we're trying to get the city to pay extra money for what they called back wages.  In Judge Rieger's Order, she stated that the City of Billings HAD paid its officers consistent with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and that  it WAS the understanding between the city of a Billings and the Billings Police Union.

In this ruling, Judge Rieger determined that the City of Billings had correctly paid the Billings Police Officers and that they were owed Nothing, further.

The Billings Police miserably failed their legal challenge against their employer the public, the city of Billings.

The city of Billings mounted an excellent defense team.   Jim Goetz of Goetz, Baldwin, and Gedded in Bozeman,  Andy Forsythe and Afton Ball of Moulton Bellingham located in Billings.    They were assisted by the City Attorney Brent Brookes and the Human Resources Director Karal Stanton of The city of Billings.

Billings Police Chief Rich St. John of course  hides from the media and is deceptive to the public and has become a cop that the public just can no longer trust.

Command Chief: St. John Rich Badge #105 maintains an (F) rating.   Command Chief: St. John Rich  is listed as a danger to public safety and well-being.   He lies to the public and the media. Public beware. He continually discriminates against minority-owned media. He is the reason his department is out of control.

It's time for the public to end the career of Billings Police Chief Rich St. John and send him packing.  He needs to be FIRED !!
