Billings Man Jason Colburn Pierce Arrested For Possession Of METH And (2) Counts Of Obstructing A Peace Officer

Billings man Jason Colburn Pierce was arrested and charged with Obstructing a Peace Officer  (2) counts and Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs.

According to a Court hearing, Billings police were dispatched to what was described as a disturbance in progress located at the Holiday Station at 105 Broadwater Ave.   The complainant told a 911 dispatcher that a man forced his way into his friend's vehicle.

The suspect was described as a black man that was in his early 20's.

The suspect entered the Holiday store.   As Billings Police Officer Edwards observed that the suspect was in the store.

When Jason Colburn Pierce saw Officer Edwards pull up to the Holiday Gas Station, Pierce ran around several of the shelves that were in the store trying to duck from being visible to Officer Edwards.

Several times Officer Edwards requested that Pierce stop, yet pierce ran out of the store.  Officer Edwards then gave chase and was able to locate Pierce near a house and was able to detain Jason Pierce arrest him and detain him.

While questioning Jason Pierce, Pierce refused to give Officer Edwards his name.  Detention staff were able to I.D. Pierce and discovered that Pierce had several outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Officer Edwards then returned to the where he had detained Pierce t search the area for anything he could find.  

Officer Edwards was able to locate a read baggie that contained METH inside of the baggie.

Billings Police Officer Rockwell field tested the substance and weighed the METH and the results of the field test were positive for METH.
