Body Of Canadian Man Cameron Collin, Found In Pryor Creek Where He Was Last Seen

UPDATE: Nov. 5, 2018

An autopsy was conducted this morning. According to the Medical Examiner, there were no obvious signs of foul play. Information at this time indicates Mr. Collin's death was the result of drowning. However, the Medical Examiner's office will not make the final determination on the cause of death until they receive toxicology reports back from the laboratory. It will likely be several weeks before the lab results come back.

UPDATE: Nov. 3, 2018

The body of Cameron Collin was recovered from Pryor Creek this morning.
At approximately 9:30 this morning, Sheriff's Office personnel in Helicopter spotted Collin's body in a portion of Pryor Creek that runs through the property where he was last seen. Gary Blaine of Billings Flying Service operated the helicopter, which was used to recover Collin's body from the water. The ongoing investigation has not revealed any evidence of foul play, although an autopsy will be performed Monday Morning to determine the cause of death.

UPDATE: Missing Person

Date: 10-12-18

Another search was conducted today in an attempt to locate Cameron Collin. Searchers concentrated efforts on the Pryor Creek, probing and raking the bottom of the creek from an inflatable raft. No signs of Mr. Collin were discovered. The search and investigation are continuing.

Incident: Missing Person
Date: 10-9-18

Subject: Cameron Collin
Description: White Male 37 years old / 6'5" and approximately 200 pounds. Skinny build. Cameron has a noticeable gap between his front teeth.
Last seen wearing blue jeans, Cowboy boots and a black, long-sleeve T-shirt with "Affliction" on front.
The Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating Cameron Collin, a 37-year-old White Male, 6' 5" tall and approx. 200 pounds. Clothing description above.
Cameron was last seen at approximately 10:45 PM, on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at a residence in the 5100 block of Pryor Road. It is believed that Cameron walked away from the residence and may have attempted to walk to Billings. Cameron is from Canada but does have some familiarity with the area. Friends and residents in the area have searched the property and surrounding area with no luck. Yellowstone County Sheriff's Deputies along with Search and Rescue personnel have conducted and extensive ground and air search of the area. Cutting Edge K-9 provided search dogs.

We would ask that Residents along Pryor Creek and Pryor Creek Road, check their property, including Pryor Creek and any buildings, for any signs of Cameron.
Anyone who may have any information as to Cameron's whereabouts, or may have seen someone matching this description walking on Hwy 87 east, Pryor road or Blue creek road, Late Thursday night or Friday Morning, is asked to contact the Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office at 406-256-2929.

There is no evidence of foul play at this time
