Syndicated by: Montana News The Yellowstone County Sheriff's Department has stated that On March 10, 2015, Douglas Neil Devous registered as a violent offender with the Yellowstone County's Sheriff's Office.
Back in March of 2015, Douglas Neil Devous listed his address as living at 1916 Hawthorne Lane in Billings.
In the year 2016 and 2017, Douglas Devous was still listed as living at 1916 Hawthorne Lane and was considered as compliant.
In 2018 the State of Montana's Sexual and Violent Offender Registry lost track of Devous as he had moved from that address without informing Law Enforcement as to his new location.
Billings Probation Officer Kelvin Harrell made contact with the old landlord, Richard Sartorie. Richard Sartorie stated to the Billings probation Officer that he had evicted Devous back in November of 2017.
The Probation Officer, Kelvin Harrell, summoned Devous by phone and ordered him to report into him. Douglas Neil Devous failed to return his Probation and Parole Officers phone call.
Subsequently, Devous was listed as a probation absconder.
Agent Baukema with the Division of Criminal Investigation spoke with a Mike Sartorie who is the son of Richard Sartorie, who did confirm that Devous had been evicted back in November of 2017.
According to Billings Police records, Douglas Neil Devous was a suspect in January 2018 where he was being accused to have threatened an employee of a business. Devous was located and arrested without incident.
