Billings woman Brittany Rose Petty, was arrested and charged for criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
On October 9th, 2018 Billings Police Officer Hidle responded to what was described aa adrug complaint at the residence of 3030 Lampman Drive located in Billings.
The complainant was Jerry Walker who had reported that he had found drugs in his daughter's belongings.
Officer Hidle went to the residence contact with Britney's father and had Mr. Walker and his daughter Brittany Rose Petty talk to him.
Mr. Jerry Walker stated that he had four sometimes suspected that his daughter drugs because he had found drug paraphernalia in the past he had noticed she has been spending a lot of time in the bathroom.
Walker also indicated that he looked into his daughter's purse found a pill bottle containing a crystal-like substance that he suspected was meth.
Jerry Walker then handed the bottle to the Billings Police Officer.
Brittany rose petal admitted in front of her father and the officer the substance in a bottle was indeed methamphetamine.
Officer Hilde then proceeded to take a statement from Britney Rose Patty.
At the end of the statement, the Billings Police Officer arrested Brittany Rose Petty without incident and remanded to the Yellowstone County Detention Facility.
