At 0046 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Euclid for a report of a shoplift from a business.  The female suspect was located and ultimately cited for theft.  The 38-year-old Helena woman was referred to Municipal Court. 

 

At 0119 hours, an Officer responded to the 1600 block of Chestnut for a report of a young child being left home alone.  It was determined the child was not alone, but there was a violation of a no contact order.  A 23-year-old Helena woman was arrested for the violation and booked into the LCSO jail

 

At 0752 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of Highland for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. 

 

At 0854 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 1100 block of Maple for a report of a burglary to a residence.  The case is active.   

 

At 0958 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 1500 block of Blain for a report of a theft of car parts. 

 

At 1048 hours, an Officer was dispatched the 300 block of Broadway for a report of a theft from a construction site.

 

At 1048 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Euclid for a report of fraudulent check activity.  The case is active. 

 

At 1340 hours, an Officer responded to the 3500 block of Centennial for a report of a theft from a construction site. 

 

At 1421 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 10 block of S Ewing for a report of an assault that occurred.  The suspect fled the scene, but was identified.  The case is active. 

 

At 1435 hours, an Officer responded to the 500 block of Logan for a report of a domestic disturbance.  It was determined an assault occurred, but the suspect fled.  The case is active. 

 

At 1406 hours, an Officer responded to the 600 block of Helena Ave for a report of a male in the area with a valid arrest warrant.  The  25-year-old Helena man was located and arrested.  He was booked into the LCSO jail. 

 

At 1631 hours, an Officer responded to the 700 block of Rhode Island for a report of a burglary to a residence.

 

At 1629 hours an Officer was dispatched to the 2900 block of Sanders for a report of a cold theft from a business.  The case is active. 

 

At 1837 hours, an Officer responded to the 10 block of N Rodney for a report of an assault that occurred.  The suspect fled and the case is active. 

 

At 1933 hours, an officer responded to the area of Cooke and Phoenix for a report of a crash.  The male driver crashed into a parked vehicle.  When Officer made contact with the driver, he demonstrated signs of impairment and was tested for DUI.  At the conclusion of the investigation, the 18-year-old Helena man was arrested for DUI, Careless Driving, Stop Sign Violation, and Underage Possession of Alcohol.  He was booked into the LCSO jail.    

 

At 2023 hours, an Officer responded to the 100 block of N Rodney for a report of a theft of property from a business.  The case is active. 

 

At 2156 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 3000 block of N Montana Ave for a report of a vehicle high centered on a center median.  When the Officer made contact with the driver, he demonstrated signs of impairment and was tested for DUI.  At the conclusion n of the investigation, the 38-year-old Helena man was arrested for DUI and Aggravated DUI.  He was booked into the LCSO jail.   

 

 

The Helena Police Department responded to 103 calls for service.  Of those calls, they responded to 5 vehicle crashes, 3 welfare Checks, 4 Trespassing complaints, and 16 Suspicious Circumstance calls.
