0057 hours-An officer made contact with the occupant of a suspicious vehicle in the 3400 block of N Montana.   At the conclusion of the incident, a 29 year old male from Malta, MT, was arrested for DUI. 

 

0532 hours-An officer responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 300 block of W Lawrence.     At the conclusion of the incident the vehicle was recovered in area of Humboldt and Saddle.   The driver,  a 42 year old female from Helena, was arrested for outstanding warrants and obstructing a police officer.   The owner of the vehicle did not want to pursue charges for the vehicle theft.  

 

0621 hours-An officer received a report of a stolen vehicle from the 1500 block of Lyndale.

 

0840 hours-An officer received a report of criminal mischief that occurred in the 1400 block of 11th Ave.

 

0925 hours-An  officer responded to a reported no contact order violation that occurred in the 1800  block of Oakes.

 

0948 hours-An officer received a report of a stolen motor home from the 1900 block of Butte.

 

0926 hours-An officer responded to a reported stolen vehicle from  the 2100 block of 9th Ave.  The vehicle had not yet been reported stolen, but the owner located the vehicle in the 1800 block of Custer.   At the conclusion of the incident a 31 year old female from Helena was arrested for felony possession of stolen property (the vehicle), possession of dangerous drugs, possession with dangerous drugs with the intent to distribute, and tampering with evidence.

 

1422 hours-An officer received a report of a stolen license plates in the 1100 block of Roberts.

 

1508 hours-An officer received a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle in the 1800 block of Custer.

 

1522 hours-An officer received a report of a stolen license plate in the 1500 block of Wilder.

 

1719 hours-Officers responded to a report domestic disturbance in the 800 block of N Last Chance Gulch.  At the conclusion of the incident a 20 year old female from Missoula was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs with the intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and underage possession of alcohol.   A 29 year old male from Helena was arrested for a probation violation and an outstanding warrant. 

 

1801 hours-Officers responded to a report of threats in the 2000 block of Missoula.   At the conclusion of the incident a 38 year old male from Helena was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of a no contact order, and two outstanding warrants.  

 

1816 hours-An officer investigated a family disturbance that occurred in the 800 block of Camelot.

 

1922 hours-An officer investigated an assault that occurred in the 1800 block of Cannon.

 

On 10-3-18, the Helena police department received 101 calls for service including 7 vehicle crashes, 6 animal control calls,  7 disturbances,  13 extra patrol requests,  4 stolen vehicles,  9 suspicious people/ circumstances, and 9 welfare checks.
