Missoula Police Educate Both Drivers And Pedestrians For A Safer City

The city of Missoula Police will conduct a pedestrian crossing emphasis patrols starting this week with an effort to make sure that the pedestrian crossing laws are enforced within the city limits.

the enforcement will take place more in the downtown business areas and other high foot traffic areas like the schools.

The Missoula Officers will be educating both the drivers and pedestrians regarding the crossing laws not only for their own safety but also for the safety of others.

According to the Missoula Police department, their overall goal is to increase safety awareness for both the drivers and pedestrians in the targeted areas.

Through education and enforcement actions when appropriate, a positive change can be accomplished for the whole public.
