At 0029 hours, an Officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Prospect and Sanders.  The male driver demonstrated signs of impairment and was tested for DUI.  At the conclusion of the investigation,  the 27-year-old Townsend male driver was arrested for DUI, Open Container of alcohol, no valid driver’s license, and no insurance,  he was booked into the LCSO jail. 

 

At 0645 hours, an Officer responded to the 2300 block of N Roberts for a report of a vandalism to a gate.      

 

At 0654 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 1300 block of Cole for a report of a burglary to a business. The case is active. 

 

At 0845 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of Camelot for a report of vandalism to a vehicle.   

 

At 0911 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of 8th Ave for a report of fraud.  The case is active. 

 

At 1011 hours, an Officer was dispatched the 3500 block of Ptarmigan for a report of an attempted burglary to a business.  The case is active. 

 

At 1004 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 2100 block of 11th Ave for a report of a theft of property from a vehicle. 

 

At 1306 hours, an Officer responded to the 1800 block of Oakes for a report of a theft of a license plate from a motor vehicle. 

 

At 1334 hours, a School Resource Officer was dispatched to the 1300 block of Billings for a report of a runaway juvenile female.  She was located later in the day. 

 

At 1451 hours, an Officer responded to the 3100 block of N Montana for a report of a shoplift.  The male suspect fled the scene, but was identified.  The case is active. 

 

At 1433 hours, an Officer responded to the 1300 block of N Oakes for a report of a group of juveniles smoking marijuana in a parked vehicle.  The juveniles were located and identified.  Charges are pending and the case is active.   

 

At 1518 hours, an Officer responded to the 2300 block of N Roberts for a report of vandalism to a shed. 

 

At 1527 hours an Officer was dispatched to the 3300 block of N Montana for a report of a shoplift from a business that occurred. 

 

At 1508 hours, an officer responded to the 200 block of Jackson for a report of vandalism to a motorcycle.   

 

At 1529 hours, an officer responded to the 700 block of Cherry for a report of a missing adult female with Alzheimer’s.  She was located s short time later.   

 

At 1507 hours, an officer responded to the 300 block of Fuller for a report of a theft of a bicycle. 

 

At 1657 hours, an officer was dispatched to the 2100 block of Custer for a report of a theft of a trailer hitch receiver from a vehicle. 

 

At 2359 hours, an officer was dispatched to the 10 block of Last Chance Gulch for a report of a disturbance between employees at a business.  When the Officer arrived, all parties were present and were identified.  At the conclusion of the investigation, a 30-year-old Helena man was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Assault, and Probation Violation.  He was booked into the LCSO jail.
