According to Lieutenant Jayson Zander #745 of the Helena Police Department, At 0243 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of S Hannaford in regards to a domestic disturbance.  It was determined an assault occurred, but the suspect had fled the scene.  The case is active. 

 

At 0744 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of Iowa for a report of vandalism to a residence. 

 

At 0817 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of N Montana Ave for a report of a shoplift from a business.  It was reported the suspect fled, but was located shortly afterwards.  The 58-year-old  Helena area man was cited for theft and referred to Municipal Court. 

 

At 0850 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 3400 block of Ptarmigan for a report of a stolen vehicle.  It was reported a 2012 Ford Escape was stolen.  The vehicle was described as silver in color and bearing MT CAN233.   

 

At 1145 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of N Montana Ave for a report of a shoplift that occurred earlier in the day.  The female 37-year-old Lincoln suspect was identified.  It was discovered she was already arrested earlier by a neighboring agency.  She was cited in the jail and referred to Municipal Court.

 

At 1250 hours, an Officer was dispatched the area of S Davis and Flora St for a report of a theft of a bicycle carrier from a vehicle.    

 

At 1322 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the area of Brady and Henderson for a report of a possible impaired driver.  An officer located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.  The male driver demonstrated signs of impairment and was tested for DUI.  At the conclusion of the investigation, the 52-year-old Clancy man was arrested DUI (3rd) and Aggravated DUI.  He was booked into the LCSO jail.       

 

At 1449 hours, an Officer responded to the 1800 block of Missoula for a report of an assault that occurred.  The suspect fled the scene and the case is active. 

 

At 1453 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of Butte Ave for a report of found drug paraphernalia. 

 

At 1521 hours, an officer responded to the 1700 block of Lincoln St for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. 

 

At 1658 hours, an Officer responded to the 3200 block of Dredge Dr for a report of a theft of a wallet. 

 

At 1856 hours, an officer responded to the 1000 block of Broadway for a report of a theft of a license plate from a vehicle. 

 

 

  

The Helena Police Department responded to 81 calls for service.  Of those calls, they responded to 2 vehicle crash,  6 Welfare Checks, 2 Trespassing complaints,  3 Disturbance calls, and 15 Suspicious Circumstance calls.
