Billings Police Investigating A Home Strong Armed Robbery Of 81-Year-old Woman

According to Sergeant Shane Winden of the Billings Police Department,on 9/17/18 at approx. 1034 hrs, Billings Police responded to a report of a robbery which had occurred at a private residence in the 3600 blk of Olympic Blvd.

 

The victim was identified to be an 81 year old female who was confronted by an unknown male after pulling into her garage. The unknown male approached her inside the garage bay shortly after she pulled inside and demanded her wallet and money.

 

The male had an unknown item in his hand which was believed to be a screw driver.

 

The susepct told the female victim that he had followed her home from the ATM and if she did not hand over her money that he would kill her. The male fled the area with the woman’s wallet in an unknown direction. He is described as being a tall slender male with dark skin.

 

Possibly in his 20’s The male wearing mostly gray clothing and was concealing the lower part of his face. The male was also described to be wearing a gray stocking cap. Investigation is on-going. The female was not hurt and the suspect is still at large.
