Deputy Greenfield observed Tate walking down the street.  Tate is listed as a Transient in Billings.

At first, Tate lied to Deputy Greenfield about his identity.

Later, Tate admitted to Deputy Greenfield that he had previously lied about his identification but then gave his correct name.

He stated that he was in a physical altercation with the other male after he had been kicked out on the street and out of the residence.

The reason he was kicked out of the home, was due to his being disrespectful to his friend's female buddy.

Later Tate returned to the door and kicked in the door and started to punch the victim in the face and body which caused injury to the male victim.

The victim was Kurt Dworshak.
