Billings man Nikko Del Rio Garcia was arrested and charged with Assault with a Weapon.  According to a Billings Police report# 18-78370, Billings Police were dispatched to the address of 318 South 28th Street for an attempted stabbing.

Officer Wallis observed a male with his shirt off, leaving the area.   Officer Wallis spoke to the complainant who stated that two men tried to stab him several times.

There was a third man whom he did not know.  The two men that he identified were Michael Cheney and Nikko Del Rio Garcia.

The victim was visiting his Uncle who lives at the address of 315 S. 28th street.  Michael Cheney approached the victim along with Nikko Del Rio Garcia and the unknown male.   Cheney stated that the victim was a snitch and that he had to leave the area because this was "their blocks."

The victim refused to leave as he was at his Uncle's home.  Cheney then pulled out a large 10" knife with a marble handle and started to threaten the victim with the knife. Nikko Garcia pulled out a smaller Swiss Army knife and also threatened to stab R.B., the victim with it.

Both Michael Cheney and Nikko Del Rio Garcia backed the victim up against a fence.  The victim having no where to go, jumped over the fence and started to run down the street.

The victim fell as he was running.

Both Cheney and Garcia were on top of the victim and trying to stab him.  The victim, was able to fend off both men with knives by kicking at them with his feet.

Police Sirens could be heard coming in the distance.  Cheney and Garcia also heard the sirens and took running back to the address of 318 South 28th street.
