Garriett Wesley AckerMan, Driving Stolen Vehicle, Was Arrested And Charged With Possession Of Meth And Drug Paraphernalia

Billings Man Garriett Wesley Ackerman, was arrested and charged with Possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.


Billings Police Officer Beck was on patrol June 11, 2018 at about 12:25p.m. And was in the area of the Econo Lodge.  


Billings Officer Beck observed a blue Nissan Armada with Idaho License plates.  This vehicle matched the description of a vehicle that was reported as stolen.


The vehicle was pulled over by Officer Beck.


Officer Beck ran the plates and Vin of the vehicle that he pulled over and it came back as a "hit".  This was indeed the previously reported, stolen vehicle.


 Officer Beck asked the driver to step out of the vehicle.  Once the driver did Officer Beck was able to I.D. the drivers as Garriett Wesley Ackerman.


Officer Beck noticed that on the driver side floorboard a loaded syringed was laying on the floor.  The syringe was loaded with Meth.  Garriett Wesley Ackerman was taken into custody without incident and booked and remanded to the Yellowstone County detention Facility.


The police report# is CR-18-41214 and the docket numbers is CR2018-1390
