According to Lt. Brett Petty, #746SSD Commander of the Helena Police Dept., the following has incidents have occured in the City of Helena Montana.

6/12/18 @ 0854 hours -- An Officer took a report of a criminal mischief to a vehicle that occurred in the area of Lawrence and Jackson St.

 

6/12/18 @ 1010 hours -- An Officer took a report of a possible fraud.

 

6/12/18 @ 1014 hours -- An Officer took a report of a possible fraud involving a wire transfer.

 

6/12/18 @ 1109 hours -- An Officer took a report of a person trying to cash a forged check.  This occurred in the 3100 block of Sanders St.  There is suspect information and this case is active.

 

6/12/18 @ 1127 hours -- An Officer took a report of a theft of tires that occurred in the 1800 block of Highland St.

 

6/12/18 @ 1250 hours -- An Officer took a report of a theft from a business located in the 400 block of N. Last Chance Gulch.  There is suspect information and this case is active.

 

6/12/18 @ 1537 hours -- An Officer was called to a business in the 2700 block of Prospect Ave concerning a theft.  There is suspect information and this case is active.

 

6/12/18 @ 1731 hours -- An Officer took a report of a theft of bike that occurred in the 3000 block of N. Montana Ave.

 

6/12/18 @ 2322 hours -- An Officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of N. Montana Ave and Boulder Ave.  Investigation into the traffic stop led to a 29 year old female being placed under arrest for Felony DUI (4th Offense), Aggravated DUI, and Speeding.  She was booked into the LCSO Jail.

 

6/13/18 @ 0049 hours -- An Officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Benton Ave and Leslie Ave.  Investigation into the traffic stop led to a 16 year old female receiving citations for the following criminal offenses:  possession of dangerous drugs (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia (pipe), MIP-Alcohol, and MIP-Tobacco.  She was referred to Juvenile Probation and to Helena Municipal Court.

 

6/13/18 @ 0202 hours -- An Officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of 7th Ave and Warren.  Investigation into the traffic stop led to a 30 year old male being placed under arrest for DUI (1st Offense) and Improper Registration.  He was booked into the LCSO Jail.
