Billings Police Officer Paul LaMantia identified, voluntarily that he was one of the three Billings Police Officers who had sex either while on the clock and or on city property.
According to a released statement that was provided to the radio entertainment radio personality, Jason Harris, Officer Paul LaMantia stated in his release that he was going to resign effective immediately.
Officer Paul LaMantia is no stranger to the news headlines. A few years back, he exposed himself in public and started peeing on the bleacher stands at a concert that was being held at the Metra.
LaMantia's attorney is Vincent Salminen, who was one of the three lawyers who filed a restraining order to keep the Officers names secret from the public.
Officer Paul LaMantia is married. Officer Paul Lamantia decided, not to appeal Judge Don Harris's ruling to release names of all the Officers who were involved, within 48 hours of the Court ruling.
LaMantia decided to resign from the department and claimed in his statement that his actions took place back in 2016 several years before it came to light in 2018.
LaMantia stated that he wanted to "protect his family."
Billings Police Chief RIch St. John only suspended Officer Paul LaMantia for one week without pay.
He should have been fired because this was the second time he got into trouble because he could not keep his privates in his pants. This was his second incident.
Officer LaMantia, now former disgraced cop Paul LaMantia , wanted to apologize to his family, his coworkers and supervisors, he then lastly included the Billings public.
The Billings Gazette and KTVQ took the lead and acted on and in behalf of the public's right to know who the names of who the Officer are. Without the Media's check and balances, the corruption in the Billings Police department would go unchallenged and harm would be done to many in the Billings community that would and could be horrific.
Many in the Billings Public do not trust the Billings police Department. They are uncredible. based on their own actions.
Chief Rich St. John himself, is corrupt to the core and has lost control of his department.
It's time for Chief Rich St. John to be either fired or step down so that an upright standing Officer can take the reigns and clean his department's mess up that he created because he hired corrupt cops.
