According to Captain Curt Stinson of the Helena Police department the following incidents took place of the last couple of days.
4/18/18 @ 4:04pm An officer investigated a theft of lawn decorations from a residence in the 200 blk of 7th Avenue.
4/17/18 @ 9:13am A small baggie containing what appeared to be methamphetamine was found in a hallway of the county courthouse. The baggie was placed into evidence to be destroyed.
4/19/18 @ 8:33am An officer responded to a business in the 1200 blk of Bozeman Street concerning found drugs. The officer recovered a small amount of marijuana and several items of paraphernalia found on the property.
4/19/18 @ 5:22pm An officer was called to investigate a burglary to a residence in the 800 blk of North Hoback Street. The resident reported she was missing a cellphone and charger from her residence and identified a suspect to the officer. The officer located and interviewed the 42 yr old Helena male and, after investigation, arrested and charged him with Burglary. He was booked at the detention center.
4/20/18 @ 12:44am An officer stopped a vehicle near Broadway and Cruse for a traffic violation. The officer cited the 18 yr old male East Helena driver for Driving without a Valid Driver’s License. The officer also cited and released a 19 yr old Helena male for Underage Possession of Alcohol. Lastly, the officer arrested a 24 yr old Helena male for Obstructing a Peace Officer (for lying to the officer about his identity) and on a warrant for his arrest. He was booked at the detention center.
4/18/18 @ 6:56am An officer recovered a Visa debit card located by a pedestrian in the 600 blk of North Last Chance Gulch.
4/19/18 @ 6:08pm An officer was called to investigate a theft from a residence in the 1600 blk of Cannon Street. The victim reported a bicycle stolen from a common area of his apartment building.
