The Minot Police Department is recommending no unnecessary travel advised within the City of Minot.
We recognize most people need to make it home from work and school, but other travel should be limited to that which is absolutely necessary.
The heavy snow is now falling at a rate faster than can be plowed, making the hills in Minot difficult for travel.
Plan your route accordingly to try to avoid the large hills in less traveled areas. All-wheel-drive vehicles are still able to navigate most areas.
Please use caution and watch for stuck vehicles in lanes of travel.
