Billings Homeless Woman Dies Due To Alcohol And Cold Weather

According to Sgt. Cagle of the Billings Police Department on 3/3/18 at approximately 0743 hours, police and medical responded to a sick/inured call in the 2800 block of 1st Ave North for an unresponsive female lying in the doorway of a business.

 

After medical determined the 48 year old female was deceased police and detectives stayed on scene to investigate the incident.

 

It was determined that there was nothing suspicious on scene and the female had been drinking with other transients throughout the night.

 

Alcohol and the cold weather appear to be contributing factors. The incident is still under investigation.  The Police case report number is 18-15100
