0926 hours-An officer responded to the LCSO jail and served an outstanding district court arrest warrant on a 42 year old male.
1023 hours-An officer responded to a report theft of a IPad from a package left at a residence in the 200 block of South Fee.
1041 hours-An officer received a report of a bad checks that occurred in the 1100 block of Broadway.
1218 hours-An officer investigated a theft that occurred in the 1200 block of Euclid.
1250 hours- An officer investigated a fraud that occurred in the 1200 block of Euclid.
1320 hours-An officer responded to a report theft of a check from the mail in the 1800 block of Joslyn. The check was later cashed at a local bank.
1346 hours-An officer responded to a reported theft from a motor vehicle that occurred in the 2700 block of Prospect.
1447 hours-An officer investigated a theft of mail that occurred in the 300 block of Janet.
1652 hours- An officer investigated a shoplifting that occurred in the 3300 block of N Montana.
1655 hours-An officer investigated a shoplifting that occurred in the 2700 block of Prospect.
1722 hours-An officer took a report of stolen license plates that occurred in the 700 block of N Warren.
1837 hours-An officer took a report of a theft of firearm that occurred in the 500 block of 6th Ave.
1837 hours-A complainant reported his vehicle had been stolen from the 3200 block of N Sanders. It was learned that vehicle had been towed. An officer responded and arrested the complainant, a 48 year old male for an outstanding arrest warrant.
2216 hours-An officer received a report several thefts had occurred over the past several months from a residence in the 1200 block of 8th Ave.
On 02-13-18, the Helena Police Department received 67 calls for service including 5 vehicle crashes, 4 family disturbances, 4 parking complaints, 5 suspicious people/circumstances, and 11 thefts.
