Billings Montana--//MNA Press//-- a Shepherd Montana father and son have a verbal disagreement and the son attacks his father. According to a Warrant that was issued for Nicholas William Walter, Age 37 born on 3/29/1980, was arrested and charged for Partner Family Member Assault.
According to the warrant, on November 2, 2017 Yellowstone count Sheriff Deputy Richter badge #3072 was dispatched to the address of 5530 Cerkoney Lane in Shepherd.
Once the Deputy arrived on the scene he spoke with the elder Walter (father) who stated to the Deputy that his son Nicholas pushed him on to his bed, held him down, and was hitting him in the face, striking him with his forearms.
According to the Father (victim) his son Nicholas truck him at least 6 times in the face. The father described to Deputy Richter Badge #3072 that he was fearful of his son and wanted to press charges for assault. The deputy told him that it would be a PFMA charge.
When the deputy spoke to the accused, Nicholas William Walter, Nicholas admitted that he had pushed his father down onto the bed and that he had pinned him down. Nicholas denied that he hit his father but did state that he did put his hand over his father mouth to keep it shut. This is the first offense for PFMA for Nicholas Walter.
As always family members that have these type of legal issues only create a large emotional wedge in the family relationship.
