Billings Mt,.--//MNA Press//--Lazy KT Motel in the news again this time with an unregistered sex offender residing room #7 which was next door to where an alleged sex offense took place.
On April 13, 2001 Rian Gregory Stiel was convicted in District Court of possession of child porn. He was to have registered as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
On July 23, 2003 Stiel changed and updated his address several times from the Alpha House on July 15 2004 and again in August 2004 and then updated his address again to 609 North 16th street.
Jan of 2015 Law Enforcement received notice that Stiel was no longer living at 609 North 16th street and that he was resideing in a home on Rimrock Road. Jan 21, 2015 Detective Kamminga contacted the defendant and his mother Lorri.
According to Detective Kamminga, both admitted that they left their address on November 2014 Kamminga had them register at the current address of 2437 Rimrock Road.
On March 20, 2015 they registered once again at a new address of 1929 Clubhouse Way #2
June 26, 2016, the Billings Police department responded to a sex offense that occurred at the Lazy KT Motel. (Stiel was not a suspect in this case.)
Stiel was evicted from Clubhouse Way on May 2, 2016.
Stiel went to live in the Lazy KT Motel with his mother in room #7.
In a current sex case, Stiel and his mother are listed as state witnesses in the sex crime that took place at the Billings Lazy KT Motel. The sex crime took place next to Stiel's #7 room.
Billings Police arrested Rian Gregory Stiel for being a non-compliant sex offender.
The case is being prosecuted by Ann-Marie McKittrick a Deputy County Attorney for Yellowstone County.
