According to Jonathan McNiven of the Yellowstone County News, those interested in the Billings Mayor Debate on Tuesday Oct. 17th can attend the Billings Mayoral debate event held at the Petro Theater on the Montana State University Billings College campus.
Introductions of the two candidates will be before the actual live debate event starts which is promptly at 7:00 p.m.
According to a PSA "Uniquely the opposing candidates for each of the five city wards have had to agree to questions for both mayoral candidates. Other panelists will be Evelyn Pyburn of the Big Sky Business Journal, Brad Molnar political columnist, with Jonathan McNiven the editor of the Yellowstone County News as moderator."
KULR-8 will live-stream the event on their facebook page. The Yellowstone County News will then take that streaming feed and share it on their website also.
The two candidates that will be facing off are Representative Jeff Essman and Billings Attorney Bill Cole. Both men are from Billings.
Those wishing to submit questions to the candidates can email them to email@example.com or by submitting your question on our Facebook Live stream during the debate.
The debate is co-sponsored by KULR-8 Television and Yellowstone County News.
A healthy and respectful debate discussion about the future of Billings will be discussed and open to the public to attend.
The debate is the last debate before the absentee ballots go out in the mail to Yellowstone County residents and Billings voters. The general election is Tuesday November 7th.
