Billings man Ryan Taylor Ditonno, was arrested and charged for Criminal Possession of dangerous Drugs and drug paraphernalia.
According Officer Gilmore of the Billings Police Department, Gilmore was on bike patrol on 9th Ave North and N 25th street. Officer Gilmore noticed a Honda Accord parked near a curb area and the intersection.
Two people were sleeping in the vehicle.
Gilmore ran the plates of the Honda and discovered that they vehicle was stolen.
After awaking the two individuals who were sleeping in the passenger seat, Ryan Taylor Ditonno was identified as the driver, and the passenger was identified as Te Amo Staudinger.
By this time Billings Police Officer Carter responded to the incident location. Both Officers were able to remove the driver of the vehicle, and that was when Officer Gilmore saw a glass pipe that is commonly used for smoking Meth.
Officer Compton removed Staudinger the passenger and placed her in handcuffs.
Gilmore requested and received permission from Ditonno to check his pockets. Officer Gilmore located several baggies with a white substance in it. That substance tested positive for Methamphetamine.
Officer Gilmore then asked permission to search the bags of the passenger and she consented to the search. Inside her purse, (5) syringes and clear plastic baggies. Inside one of the baggies was the residue of Meth. Both individuals were taken to the Yellowstone County Detention Center and booked and charged.
