According to Lt. Niel Lawrence of the Billings Police Department, on the above date & time officers from the Billings Police Department responded to a pedestrian that had been struck by a vehicle. Investigating officers learned that the pedestrian, 81 yr old Billings resident Harold Bohrer, was attempting to cross Grand Ave from the north side of the street in the 1900 blk.
The pedestrian failed to use the crosswalk and was struck by the driver of a 2010 silver Lexus SUV. The driver of the Lexus had exited a parking lot & was attempting to proceed westbound on Grand Ave when the pedestrian was struck.
The pedestrian was transported by ambulance to Billings Clinic with non-life threatening injuries. The pedestrian was cited for Jaywalking.
