According to Lt. Cady of the Billings Police Department , the Billings Police were called to a crash on Wicks Lane in front of the Wal-Mart entrance. An American Medical Response unit came across this crash and called it in.
Witnesses say that a ¾ ton GMC truck came out of the exit at a higher than normal rate of speed and struck the left front corner of a large truck that was in the left turn lane attempting to deliver eggs to Wal-Mart.
Witnesses say that the driver of the 66 year old male driving the pickup appeared to be having some type of medical problem prior to the crash.
Medical personnel started life saving efforts right away and transported the driver to Billings Clinic where continued lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful.
No one in the delivery truck reported any injuries. Billings Police Crash Investigators were working at the scene and portions of Wicks will was closed until the investigators had cleared the scene. This police case number is 17-23041
