Missoula Man Darrin Leland Reber was arrested for having $100,000.00 in warrants against him for his arrest. The City Missoula Police Officer O’Dell received a tip from a citizen as to the location of Darrin Leland Reber.
Officer O,Dell new that Reber was a felony probation and that he had many warrants for his arrest.
As the Officer walked up to Reber’s vehicle the Officer observed Reber using a torch like lighter. Officer O,Dell recognized Reber from previous bookings photographs. Reber is a known Drug addict to Law Enforcement. Officer O’Dell arrested Reber and took him to jail. O’Dell then returned to Reber’s vehicle and peered into the vehicle.
In plain site a clear glass water Meth Bong was visible laying on the passenger floor board. O’Dell contacted Reber’s probation Officer and the Probation Officer requested a search of the vehicle to be completed. A search of the vehicle was conducted and the following items were found.
A rolled up sandwich bag containing Meth inside of it.
About a golf ball sized chunk of Meth was in the baggie.
Officer O’Dell knew this was Meth in appearance based on his training and experience.
3 small distribution baggies were also located. The substance in each of the baggies was the drug Cocaine.
Another baggie was located with the drug called Molly inside of the baggie.
The Police investigation continues.
