At 0143 hours, an Officer responded to the 300 block of N. Last Chance Gulch for a report of a vehicle being broken into and property being stolen from inside the vehicle. Using video surveillance from local businesses, Officers were able to learn the identity of the suspect within 30 minutes. The suspect was stopped prior to learning his identity on unrelated traffic offenses. Officers located and cited Helena resident Ryan Lehman (37 years old) for Trespass to a motor vehicle, Criminal Mischief, Theft, and 2 counts of Deceptive practices. He was scheduled into Municipal Court.

At 1103 hours, an Officer responded to the area of Ryan Fields for a report of a theft. It was reported a license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

At 1056 hours, an Officer responded to the 2000 block of Cromwell Dixon for a report of fraud. It was reported an individual attempted a purchase at a local business with a counterfeit check. The suspect fled the scene.

At 1331 hours, an Officer responded to the 400 block of Twilight for a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle.

At 1352 hours, an Officer responded to the 1000 block of Butte for a report of a theft. It was reported property was stolen from a cargo trailer.

At 1609 hours, an Officer responded to the 900 block E Lyndale for a report of a burglary. It was reported a residential shed was broken into and items were stolen.

At 1649 hours, an Officer responded to the 1400 block of Sibelius for a report of a theft of mail from mail boxes. Suspect information was obtained and the investigation is on-going.

At 1800 hours, an Officer responded to the 3000 block of N. Montana for a report of a shoplift. It was reported the female suspect fled the business, but was followed by a store clerk. The Officer responded and located the female, Helena area resident Kama Kallevig (26 years old). She was arrested for theft, an outstanding warrant, and a Probation Violation. Kallevig was booked into the LCSO jail.

At 2026 hours, an Officer responded to the area of Dredge and Roadrunner for a report of an intoxicated male standing in the middle of the road. Officers responded and located the male, Helena resident Dylan Ford-Briere (29 years old). Ford-Briere was arrested for an active warrant. He was booked into the LCSO jail.

At 2311 hours, an Officer responded to the 10 block Last Chance Gulch for a report of an assault. It was reported a male, who had previously been trespassed from the establishment, entered and punched an employee. Officers were able to locate the suspect. At the conclusion on the investigation, Helena resident Shane Collins (26 years old), was cited for trespassing and assault. He was scheduled into Municipal Court.

Officers responded to 113 calls for service. Of those calls, they responded to 38 non-injury crashes, 2 injury crashes, 2 welfare checks, 6 assist calls, and 6 suspicious circumstances calls.
