Billings man Thomas Joseph Krosch was arrested and charged with Assault with a weapon and Obstructing a Peace Officer, Possession of drug paraphernalia. According to court records, including the brother of Krosch, who goes by the initials of (E.K.)
Billings Police Officer Wallis arrived at the home of 918 ½ Custer Ave for disturbance in progress call. Officer Wallis arrived on the scene he spoke to E.K. who is the brother of Thomas Krosch.
E.K. told the Officer that he was waiting at the house to see his brother, his brother Thomas, started arguing with him and Thomas charged him in the living room. E.K. stated that he tackled his brother to gain control but Thomas was able to get away.
E.K. decided to leave and got into the passenger seat of his father’s car which was parked in the alley in an attempt to leave the house. As he was crawling in to his father’s car, Thomas threw a shovel at Eric and the shovel struck his father’s car Eric felt threatened and defended himself and punched Thomas and tackled him to the ground.
Thomas then went to grab a metal scooter and swung it at his brother striking his brother in the groin and leg.
According to a police report, Billings Police officer Wallis talked to Thomas.
Thomas stated that his name was Thomas Volterez.
Billings Police Officer Wallis knew that Thomas just gave him a false last name but did give Officer Wallis his true first name.
Wallis then questioned Thomas as to what transpired and Thomas stated that he got into a wrestling match with his brother and that he hit his brother with a metal scooter and threw a shovel at his brother.
Officer Wallis searched Thomas and discovered a marijuana metal container with an odor of marijuana.
Inside of the container was a leafy green residue.
Thomas was arrested and charged on the spot. At the jail house Thomas told Officer Wallis that his brother pulled a knife on him and that he did not want to press charges. Thomas also stated that he lied to police because he hates the police and does not trust them.
