December 25, 2016

Billings Mont, Dec 25,2016--//MNA PRESS//--  Billings woman Jennifer Coquillette was arrested and charged for multiple counts of Criminal Possession With Intent To Distribute  Drugs and (1) count of Theft.

The case starts back on August 9, 2013 when a District Court Judge issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Nathan Jerome Adams for failure to appear for his revocation hearing.   On Sept 30, 2013 that same Court judge issued a different warrant for contempt of court.  The original charge in this case was for criminal possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute the drugs.

According to Deputy U.S. Marshal Timothy Hornung, he was interviewing an individual that provided him with intelligence that Adams was living in a local motel with his girlfriend, Jennifer Coquillette.  The Hotel that both Adams and Coquillette were living at was the Econ Lodge.

Hornung set up surveillance across the street from the hotel.  @ Hours later, Hornung had other members of the MVOTF team come and assist him.

The Names of those that assisted Hornung are:

Chris Evans, Mike Smith and Daquiri Tofte all who are U.S. Marshals.

Adams and Coquillette drove up in a 2004 GMC pickup truck that Officers were told was a stolen pickup that belonged to Chad Litzsinger on Sept 5, 2013.   The truck was valued at about $15,000.00 at the time of the theft by Adams and Coquillette.

The Truck was taken by the Billings Police Department and searched by Billings Police Sergeant Brian Korell and Billings Police Officer Mike Yarina who claim to have secured the vehicle and placed evidence tape on the access points of the vehicle only to later return the vehicle to the owner Chad Litzsinger.

Sheriff Detective Patrick Korb  immediately started down loading text messages and photographed all the information from the seized LG cell phone  Later, on October 22, 2013  Detective Korb then applied for a search warrant for the seized LG cell phone.  That was when he downloaded all the internal data from that cell phone and the cell hone’s SD card to a computer and then he photographed all the contacts as well as everything in the memory data bank of the cell phone’s hard drive memory.

Based on the findings of the cell phone, the police claim that “drug talk” was in the text messages, their by indicating that Adams and Coquillette  were involved in the distribution of dangerous drugs.

Jennifer Coquillette was finally charged on October 8, 2016
