Minot N.D --- Inclement weather and slippery roads will again affect City of Minot trash collection. City of Minot trash collection is experiencing delays in several service areas on Tuesday, November 29th. A majority of delayed collection will occur west of Broadway to the Highway 83 bypass.
“Our crews were out well into Monday evening trying to catch up on the delays and that may very well be the case tonight,” says John Reynolds, City of Minot Sanitation Superintendent. “It’s hard to know exactly what areas of town will see delayed collection; it’s all in Mother Nature’s hands right now.”
City of Minot Sanitation plans to use its usual maintenance day, which occurs every Wednesday of each week, to continue collection in an effort to catch up with the expected delays. All regularly scheduled trash collection days will remain until further notice.
Citizens are encouraged to use the City of Minot Razor Tracking service to locate the status of each garbage truck. The Razor service may be found under “Public Works” on the City of Minot website, minotnd.org.
